Stock group boundary changes in Community Insight

We are always looking for ways to improve our tool, and a big part of what informs this is gathering feedback. One example of this is how we’ve heard from our users that they’d like the way stock groups are shown on the map to be more intuitive.

Well, we’ve taken that feedback on board and we’re making some important changes to how you view areas on the map.

What does this mean for me?

From now on, if you create a stock group using draw on the map or from a standard area, when displayed on the map:

  • The area will be outlined in black
  • The area will remain clear (and not filled in with a light grey colour)
  • You will be able to hover over or select LSOAs within your area

We’d love to hear from you!
